Pentax have unveiled the Optio WG-1 its now on general release from major retailers. It claims to be tougher than the Optio W90 that was released last year, this sports like wonder is designed to be able to withstand pressures of 100 kilograms, waterproof up to ten metres, dustproof, coldproof as low as -10°C and can withstand a drop of 1.5 metres. Features-wise the 14MP cameras incorporate the same 28-140mm equiv. zoom lens, 2.7″ LCD and 720p HD recording capability as the W90.
